Fees: what a sale costs on each
Take a $50 digital product. On Linktree Free, Linktree keeps 12% ($6.00) and Stripe about $1.75, so you receive roughly $42.25. On Starter or Pro the Linktree fee is 9% ($4.50), leaving about $43.75, and you pay the monthly plan on top. Only Premium ($35 a month) drops the Linktree fee to 0%[2]. Linktree’s own worked example of a $34.99 course lands at $29.48 on Free and $33.68 on Premium.
On MinglyLink the order comes to you and the customer pays through your own payment link, so the only deduction is your processor’s: roughly $48.25 at Stripe’s 2.9% + $0.30. The trade-off is real: MinglyLink does not take card payments on the page or deliver files for you, so you send the payment link and the download yourself. Selling and booking
Linktree sells digital products and courses through its own Stripe-based checkout, so payments happen on your page, at the cost of its fee. It added native Bookings in 2026, with Google Calendar sync and paid bookings[6].
MinglyLink is built around orders: visitors add physical products, downloads or services to a cart and place the order on your page, and you manage it in your dashboard. The booking calendar is free, with time zones, buffer times and email confirmations. If you want card payments taken on your page, Linktree’s checkout does that and MinglyLink does not yet; if you sell physical goods, services or appointments and want to be paid directly, MinglyLink fits better. On Linktree the logo stays on Free and Starter pages and QR codes and comes off from Pro[4]; analytics show 28 days on Free, 90 on Starter, 365 on Pro and all time on Premium[3]. MinglyLink shows clicks and views for each item on your page over any date range, plus all-time page visits, counted first-party, and every design option is included. Privacy and GDPR
Linktree Pty Ltd is based in Melbourne; its privacy notice sends visitor data to Australia and the US under standard contractual clauses, and its profile pages load a cookie banner[8][9]. MinglyLink is a UK company: its bio pages set no cookies and load no third-party tracking scripts, and it has an Impressum field for German and Austrian pages. Which one should you choose?
Choose Linktree if you want unlimited links, the largest set of integrations, a checkout that takes card payments on your page, or a tool your audience already recognises, and the fees or plan price are fine for you.
