Mohanned Farahat, Founder

Mohanned Farahat has worked in technology for more than seven years, across telecoms (at Upland Software), AI, cybersecurity and adtech. Mohanned studied business at the University of Greenwich, graduating with honours, took tech bootcamps alongside the degree and moved into tech straight after graduating.

MinglyLink has been in development since January 2024. Mohanned is the director of MinglyLink Ltd (Companies House officer record, appointed 30 May 2025). Articles on the MinglyLink blog carry Mohanned's byline; send corrections to info@mingly.link.

What MinglyLink does

Every feature below is on the one free plan. Each line is checked against the code and listed in our llms.txt.

Shop

  • Buyers add several products to a cart and place one order on your page.
  • Sell physical or digital products; you send digital files yourself. Services are booked through your booking calendar.
  • Each product has its own page and link (ming.ly/name/shop/…).
  • Create your own promo codes: a percentage off the whole cart.
  • Each shop sells in one currency you choose from 30, including GBP, EUR, CHF, USD, CAD, SAR and AED; prices, orders and emails show it.

Orders

  • Every order lands in your orders dashboard, where you move it from Pending to Confirmed, Preparing, Shipped and Delivered, or cancel or reject it.
  • The buyer gets an email when they order, with a tracking link, and one each time you update the order. Replies go to you.
  • You get an email for every new order.
  • When you mark an order Shipped, you can add a tracking number and link for the buyer.

Booking

  • Clients request a time slot on your page, optionally for one of your priced services, and you confirm it. They get an email when they book and when you confirm, cancel or complete the booking; replies go to you.
  • You set weekly hours, blocked or custom dates, your time zone, one appointment length (15 to 120 minutes) and a buffer between appointments.

Also on every page

  • Collect email addresses (with CSV export) and messages through a contact form.
  • Analytics: all-time page visits, views and clicks for any date range, and clicks per item.
  • A QR code for your page (PNG or SVG), up to 6 video links, your own SEO title and description, and a legal-notice (Impressum) field.

Limits

  • Up to 100 items on a page (products, link cards, services, social links and section headers).
  • Not included yet: card payments through MinglyLink, automatic file delivery, stock tracking, shipping rates and order export.
  • MinglyLink doesn’t calculate, add or collect sales tax or VAT: buyers see the prices you enter.
  • There’s no returns feature, and buyers can’t cancel an order themselves: they contact you, and you handle returns and refunds directly.
  • No automatic reminders, calendar sync, payment at booking or team scheduling yet.
  • No custom domain (pages live at ming.ly/name), and the small “Powered by MinglyLink” footer credit and the MinglyLink mark on QR codes can’t be removed.

How money works

There is no subscription and no paid tier.

Selling: MinglyLink takes 0% of your sales. Buyers place the order on your page and pay you directly, however you agree: cash on delivery, bank transfer or your own payment link, outside MinglyLink. When card payments through MinglyLink launch, they will carry the card processor’s fee plus a small MinglyLink fee; orders paid to you directly stay at 0%.

Ads: Ads from MinglyLink’s own inventory appear on pages and can’t be switched off; the page owner gets 60% of that ad revenue.

Payouts: Ad earnings can be withdrawn from $50 to a bank in the UK, the EEA (except Iceland), Switzerland, the US or Canada; Stripe pays them into the bank.

Languages

The dashboard, public pages and emails are in English. Your page name and the texts on your page can be written in any language and script, including Arabic. This website has guides in English, German, Spanish and Arabic.
